Why KeiScout exists
Buying a Kei truck in the United States is confusing, fragmented, and full of risk. We built KeiScout to fix that.
Kei trucks are some of the most capable, efficient, and genuinely useful vehicles ever built — but buying one in the U.S. means navigating overseas auctions, exporters, shipping, federal import rules, customs, and a patchwork of state registration requirements. Most buyers do this alone, with incomplete information.
A concierge, not a dealership
KeiScout is an independent sourcing and import concierge. We do not maintain a lot of marked-up inventory. Instead, we search on your behalf, help you choose the right vehicle, and can manage the import process end-to-end — with third-party costs kept transparent and separate from our service fees.
Built on verified information
Our state-law database and cost tools are built on primary sources and clearly labeled estimates. Where we have not finished verifying a state, we say so rather than guess.
